Counting your blessings…
Do you ever sit there thinking, just how lucky you are? Well today I did and I realised something, I am the luckiest girl in the world! I know I moam sometimes when things aren’t quite going my way but I have a pretty good life in the overall scheme of things. I have three beautiful, healthy children who I adore. I have a happy home and a rather exciting life. I shouldn’t be complaining at all. I have hot food when ever I am hungry and clean water whenever I need a drink. My children and I don’t want for anything, not many can say that.
Today I decided that from now on whenever I’m feeling down or things aren’t looking good, I need to remember all these things because I really should be counting my blessings. I have three happy children who are my whole world. They are well mannered and behave well (most of the time) They love school and have lots of friends, they’re everything I could have ever hoped they would be. Watching them grow up is a pleasure in itself and I look forward to seeing what they become in the future. I know already, whatever they do I will be proud.
So, no more wallowing in self pity or moaning about things that simply don’t matter. I have so much to be thankful for and I truly am. Life isn’t a practice run and I intend to make the most of every moment that I have. My family are the most important thing to me although I may forget that sometimes but it’s true. My life would be boring and empty without them, they complete me!
