My little ones love role play and pretending that they are doing real life jobs – just like the grown-ups! This Pick & Mix Sweet Shop has been specially designed to provide hours of fun and stimulation so your little shopkeeper will really feel part of your world while developing essential life skills and having fun at the same time. We’ve been having a play with one this week and have to say, what’s not to like about playing shopkeepers with real sweets. Although it’s aimed at children aged between 3 and 8, all three of my children aged from 5 to 12 have loved taking their turns being shopkeepers and customers.
The toy itself is really easy to put together as everything you need to play is there in the box. You get the shop, till, weighing scales, sweet pots and lots of sweets to sell too. Everything just clips together so there’s no need for any grown up help, it’s nice and simple.
My three have had lots of fun playing with this. It’s the sort of toy that really brings out their imagination. Role playing is always great fun but when real sweets are involved it’s even better. They loved the fact that they could buy, sell and eat real sweets.
