Santa made our Christmas extra special this year..

Last week you’ll remember I wrote a post informing you that Santa Claus was coming to town, well guess what – he really did! Christmas 2013 in our house was magical, not only for my children but for all the children ( and adults ) we met throughout the day.

My children woke up at about 8am as usual on Christmas morning and ran down the stairs to see if Santa had been and left them some presents. Santa had not only left them lots of lovely gifts this year but he had also left them an extra special surprise, himself!

A person wearing a large, plush Father Christmas costume stands indoors, posing with both hands raised. The costume features a red suit, white trim, black belt, black boots, and an oversized Father Christmas head with a white beard. Cards hang on the left wall and a jumper is on the right.

The kids faces were a picture and the girls loved him. Ryan was a little scared at first as Santa was very big but after a quick cuddle he soon came round. Santa ( who we know as Daddy ) soon got lots of cute cuddles from the kids which I think he loved too.

Santa was amazing, his suit was super soft and bright, the kids just loved squeezing him. He didn’t get to stay at our house for long though as we had lots of family to visit. Our first stop was at my parents house, where we took great joy in surprising them all. Our next stop was at our Aunt’s house where we were staying for dinner. There was smiles all around as we walked in with Santa,  everyone wanted their photograph taken, both young and old.

My favourite part of the day was on our traditional walk to the pub around the corner. Lots of cars beeped their horns and children waved from their windows. Good old Santa being the jolly fellow that he is waved back happily to all. It was truly a magical day.

Santa had a quick pint with Grampy and enjoyed all the attention from the crowds. Children waved and even the grumpiest of adults had to smile. Santa was the best dressed there! It was a little strange for me to be walking down the street on Christmas Day with Santa but it was wonderful, it was so nice to spread a little Christmas cheer to all who say us pass by.

We all had a wonderful Christmas this year and hope you did too. The wonderful people over at Wayfair really made our Christmas a magical one we will never forget. Their costumes really do come to life, they’re amazing quality and certainly made with love. There’s lots of other costumes to choose from too, not just Santa’s but animals and lots of other fun ones. Be sure to check out the Wayfair Dress Up America section to see them all.

This Christmas Santa Claus really did come to town, My town!
