Fireman Sam Advent Puzzle – Jumbo Games
This Christmas why not treat your Fireman Sam fans to a festive Advent Calendar and Puzzle all in one from Jumbo Games. I’ve never seen anything like this before so I was very excited to get a closer look. This beautifully boxed puzzle has 24 pieces and is aimed at children 3 and over. Each piece has an advent calendar window in the middle with a picture hidden behind.
The pieces are a nice size, perfect for small hands to get a grip of. They’re brightly painted and make a wonderful Pontypandy Christmas scene once all put together.
I really love the idea of this advent calendar and puzzle all in one but in practice there was one thing I didn’t like and that was the puzzle once made is a lot bigger than the box so there’s no where to keep it safe on the count up to Christmas. I would have liked it if the box had been the same size so that I could have stored it back in it. Once the puzzle is made, it’s quite big meaning in my small house I don’t really have the space to leave it out for the next month. It’s a lovely puzzle and a great advent calendar but sadly I’ve had to put it back in the box for now until I find a place I can leave it out. If you have a lots of space then you needn’t worry like me.
I scored this Fireman Sam Advent Puzzle a 2/5. I really like the puzzle but the advent calendar part won’t be suitable for us as there’s just no where safe to leave it out flat sadly.
