Our Half Term Day Out – Hatton Country World

Our Half Term Day Out – Hatton Country World

Today we decided last minute – Lets go somewhere! We decided on Hatton Country World based in the West Midlands. We’ve been once before in the summer but today we decided to brave the winter and go join in their Halloween Event – Pumpkin Week. We don’t really celebrate Halloween in our house but today we decided that it’s just the bit of outdoor fun that we needed.

This is not a sponsored post in anyway. We went for a family day out and I’ve decided too blog about it simply because we had such a fab time. The prices are one entrance price of: Adults £11.95 Children £13.95 and under 2’s FREE.

The entrance fee included access to everything inside the park for free 😀 There was so much to do, we were there for hours. Open spaces galore. Pure natural fun. For late October the weather was gorgeous, lovely sunshine and not that cold. It was beautiful out there. There was myself, Daddy, Lily & Ryan on our day out today and I think I can speak for all of us and say we all had an amazing day!

A children’s outdoor play area with kids riding small vehicles around a tyre-lined track. In the background, there are colourful playground structures, inflatable slides, and people walking or sitting. Trees and fields are visible in the distance.

A child looks out from the window of a small, whimsical playhouse with a slanted roof and black trim. The house is set outdoors on grass, with trees and a fence in the background on a cloudy day.

Lily had fun playing in huge Wendy houses, milking pretend cows and running riot amongst the fields. We rode tractors and JCB’s , Fed the goats and sheep. We even got to hold and feed the Guinea pigs which were all so cute. We had fun on the swings and huge slides in the outdoor play areas. There’s huge sandpit areas too where the kids can play, build or create. Ryan had a great time. It almost looks like he’s at the beach.

A small child in a yellow jumper and dark trousers squats on sandy ground, looking to the right. Their left hand touches the sand. An adult wearing a pink jacket and beige trousers stands nearby, visible from the hips down.
A toddler in a yellow shirt and black trousers stands on sand, smiling at an adult in jeans and a black jacket who is bending down holding something in his hands. Behind them is a bright yellow playground slide shaped like construction equipment.

We had a fab lunch in their cafe and was amazed at the HUGE indoor play area we found inside. It was one of the best soft play area’s I’ve seen and I’ve seen a fair few. There was loads of spaces to play, hide and explore. 3 great slides, A devils drop, a Bumpy slide with mats and an adventurous dropped slide that my Lily went down all by herself. I don’t know what came over her, She was like “Mummy look at me” I think I was more scared than she was lol We must have spend over a good hour inside before I eventually managed to drag them out. After all we had Pumpkins too pick!

A young girl in pink trousers and red wellies stands in a field holding a large pumpkin. Several pumpkins are scattered on the ground around her. Adults walk in the background among dry grass and trees under a cloudy sky.

A child sits in a sunlit, grassy field surrounded by scattered pumpkins. Dry grass and distant bushes line the horizon, with a few people walking away in the background. The child's bright clothing contrasts with the autumn landscape.

The Pumpkin field was huge and such a beautiful sight, I’ve never seen anything quite like it. After a good search of them all – Yes them all lol We eventually found Lily’s & Ryan’s special pumpkin, just for them. There was a hut where we could go carve them but we ran out of time so didn’t quite get round to that – It’s OK though because we brought them home to do here.

Lily’s favourite part was all the free rides, bouncy castles and inflatable slide. They could go on as much as they liked because it was all free 😀

The only things we had to pay for was Lily’s Pony ride which was only £2 so well worth it and her go on the Ranging Bull – just a £1.

We truly had an amazing day. It’s been great fun and I really can’t wait to go back again. There’s so much more we did that I haven’t mentioned but I don’t wanna keep you here all night.

One thing I would like to say is that if you live in the West Midlands then Hatton Country World is a must. You won’t be disappointed – We wasn’t!
