The Monterey2 Booster Seat is a high-back booster seat designed to fit a growing child between 15 kg and 36 kg. It has deep, reinforced sides lined with energy absorbing EPS foam for side impact protection. An easy to use dial on the back allows you to adjust the width of the expandable seat back to fit a child’s shoulders up to 50.8 cm wide. It has an amazing 11-position headrest which adjusts up to 16.5 cm in height with one hand for an easy, precise fit. As a fixed-position booster, it has an integrated ISOFAST connector and a front adjuster allowing for a safe and secure installation in seconds (ISOFAST use is optional). The seat bottom has extra length for leg support and features thick AirTek foam with tapered sides for total comfort. There’s also the added bonus of two cup holders which are extra deep and angled to keep drinks upright. The Monterey2 also comes flat packed for convenience.

We’ve been testing the Monterey2 Booster seat ourselves over the past 5 weeks and I must admit I do love this seat. My Lily, aged 5 had been using a basic booster seat up until now but she’s so happy with her new seat and would never go back to her old one now. The Monterey2 was very easy to fit into place and only took a few minutes. We have one car seat in our car already for my youngest Ryan who is only 2 so I was a little worried about adding another. The Monterey2 booster seat is a little bigger than Lily’s old seat as it’s more padded and also this one had a back, with padded sides and head rest. Her old seat was just a base with nothing else. Lily loves the Monterey2 seat, it’s so comfortable and I know it’s keeping her safe so we’re all happy. We went out to the shops last week with all three kids in the car to test out how much space they would all have. Lily sits behind Daddy, Ryan behind Mummy and Chloe in the middle.
Chloe was a little squished and moaning but that wasn’t an issue as at least both Lily and Ryan were happy and safe. The Monterey2 booster seat has a removable back which we have now removed so that Lily is now sitting on the padded booster seat without the sides or neck rest. She’s still safe and comfortable but it means that Chloe now has her space in the car back and isn’t so squished any more. Having three kids in one car was always going to be a tight fit but at least with the Monterey2 Booster Seat, it’s a safe and comfortable fit.
The Monterey2 Booster Seat is a fantastic car seat. It fits so snugly and looks so comfortable. I wouldn’t mind sitting in a seat like this myself (yes I know I’m too big but just saying).
