Christmas at Poundland
This Christmas Poundland is bursting to the brim with Christmas goodies. There’s presents, decorations, stocking fillers, food and even cleaning products for the aftermath!
Yesterday I went to my local High Street store to check out what’s on offer and to partake in a special Bloggers Christmas Poundland challenge. We were given a wonderful £20 voucher and challenged to see what we could buy to make our Christmas that little bit easier. I was really surprised with all the goodies they have available in store, there’s shelves full of everything you could possible need for Christmas. It took me about 45 minutes to decide on what to buy.
It was a tough job but someone had to do it and boy was I so glad that someone was me. I came out of Poundland, one very happy Mummy with 3 bags full of festive fun.
I bought 5 rolls of gorgeous wrapping paper, 1 snowman design for us adults and 4 for the kids. There was Disney Princesses in both pink and purple for my girls and Disney Cars and Toy Story for my little man. I loved the selection they had, there was paper for everyone, young or old. I bought pretty bows and gift tag stickers which I love as they’re a quick and easy way to label all your gifts. I had to get a few gift bags too of course, with all the pretty designs to choose from I just couldn’t resist and ended up with three of them.
I bought some Milk Chocolate Candy Canes for the kids and a box of Chocolate Liqueurs for my dad, they’re his favourite. I found some super cute headbands for my girls and least but not least I got two packets of batteries, AA and AAA which we’re going to need once Santa has been. Overall I had a rather enjoyable and productive shopping trip.
Poundland is already one of my favourite high street stores as it’s full of value and choice. If you’re looking for some Christmas bargains then why not try your local store and see what you can find. You won’t be disappointed, there really is something for everyone.
