Elizabeth Shaw’s Christmas Treats Review
Elizabeth Shaw is celebrating the festive season with the launch of four new treats: Dark Mint Creams, Orange Crisps, Salted Caramel Crisps and the Merry Christmas Mini Gifts. Available in newly designed packaging, there is a chocolate for everyone this Christmas, including gift boxes for friends, after dinner treats and stocking fillers for all the family.
Last week I had the exciting job of trying them all out and here’s how I got on:
Milk Mint Crisp: A lighter take on the classic Dark Mint Crisp, made with smooth milk chocolate with a refreshing mint flavour and that classic honeycomb crisp texture.
Individually wrapped in silver foil, you can enjoy just a small taste of luxurious chocolate when that’s all you need or enjoy a few at a time when you’re really in the mood for a chocolate fix. I always love a yummy chocolate treat at Christmas, it’s the one time of year I allow myself to eat a few more than I’d normally but it’s once a year so why not.
Milk Salted Caramel Crisp: They won’t leave you disappointed, the sweet taste of the caramel flavour is made better with a touch of sea salt as well as the classic honeycomb crisp. The flavours are so good, I love salted caramel flavour so much and these are no different. They’re small enough to not feel guilty about eating too many but taste good enough that you’ll want to eat them all. Luckily for me, I had to share so didn’t eat them all.
Orange Flutes & Bites Gift Pack: These dark chocolate flutes filled are with milk chocolate orange centres. They’re fruity and chocolatey, making them perfect for Christmas time.
I do love a nice chocolate treat every now and again so for me these are just perfect as each one comes individually wrapped for freshness and perfect portion sizing.
They get a firm thumbs up from me, I really enjoyed them and would buy them again.
