How did you celebrate World Book Day?
Yesterday ( March 1st ) was World Book Day, also my 30th Birthday but to my girls it was just dress up day at school. I made more of an effort this year and ordered their outfits on line. Yes, I know I cheated but it was my birthday and I really didn’t want the fuss or hassle in the morning of getting them both ready. With ready made costumes they were done in seconds!

Lily went as a Fairy.
A young girl stands smiling in front of a white radiator, wearing a sparkly pink princess dress with a layered skirt. She has straight brown hair with a fringe, dark tights, and pink shoes. Behind her is a window with white curtains and various objects on the sill.

Finally – One last picture of them both together.
Two young girls pose indoors. The older girl wears a black cat costume with cat ears and a sparkling heart on her chest. The younger girl wears a pink fairy or princess dress with purple details and pink shoes. They stand in front of a radiator and a windowsill with ornaments.

World Book Day was fun this year. They had a great day at school and really loved their costumes. It’s a shame they have to grow up. Just look at them, so innocent and happy. I wonder what they’ll want to dress up as next year?
