Isn’t It Funny How Flowers Do That?
Flowers always seem to brighten up my day but I don’t get them very often. Maybe on Mothers Day or on Birthdays. It’s a real shame that we have to have a reason to send our loved ones flowers. I’d never really thought about it until the other day when I received a lovely email from a guy named Jack simply saying “May I send you some flowers?” My face lit up at once, what a kind thought.
It would have been rude of me not to accept of course so I graciously accepted.
The very next day I had a gorgeous delivery of beautiful flowers. They really were so lovely. So bright and pretty and wonderfully wrapped with a huge orange bow. They really made this mummies day!
I’m sorry my photo doesn’t do them justice. My lighting is really bad in my dining room šŸ™ The flowers are so beautiful and so vibrant. I could simply stare at them for hours. They smell divine too.

The overall lighting is low, creating deep shadows.A bouquet wrapped in yellow mesh with a large orange ribbon bow sits on a dark surface. To the left, a small rectangular card with yellow floral designs is partially visible. The lighting is dim, casting shadows on the bouquet and background.
I was sent this lovely bouquet as a kind gesture as part of this wonderful campaign that is going on.
The lovely people over at the “Flower Council of Holland” who are based at  Funny How Flowers Do That are investigating all the different reasons to give out flowers – and the simple joy that they bring. They are offering up to 1,000 bouquets over 100 days.
Why not pop over and enter yourself, simply upload a picture under that days title and you could receive a free bouquet of flowers. It’s such a lovely campaign.
I love flowers and have now entered myself into their daily draw today. We all deserve a nice treat every now and again so do go on over and take part. You’ve got nothing to lose and maybe even something pretty to gain.
