Dirt Devil gas a team of 10 lucky Bloggers who were chosen to take part in their new product challenge. Mummy Of 3 Diaries was lucky enough to be in this ten. We were all sent a brand new  Tempest Cylinder DCC070 Vacuum cleaner.
A boxed Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner is shown on a wooden floor. The box highlights features like “antibacterial bagless cylinder,” “2200W high power,” and “super suction power,” with images of the vacuum and cleaning scenes printed on the packaging.

Fist off it was very easy to put together, It literally took 5 minutes. There’s no messing about, you just simply attach the pieces you require and off you go. My living room gets very messy with my three kids running round all day. They’re constantly putting food crumbs and bits of paper every where. We also have a cat hair problem, especially now the summer is coming and our Garfield is loosing his winter coat ( all over my settee ).
Here’s a quick shot of my floor before we hoovered:
A red carpeted floor with visible stains and debris. On the left is a wooden storage bench with a blue front panel, partially open with toys inside. On the right, part of a gas heater with a metal grille and wooden trim is visible against a white wall.

And then a shot taken just 5 minutes later! It’s spotless. This vacuum cleans really well and really fast. I’m very pleased with the result, just look for yourself.

A red carpeted floor with a floral pattern, a wooden toy box with a blue front on the left, a gas heater on the wall in the upper right, and a wooden table or bench partially visible at the bottom right. The room appears tidy and simply furnished.

It sounds amazing and I must agree. It retails at £79.99 at Dirt Devil which is worth every penny!
One of my favourite features of this Vacuum is the colour and the design. I love Red, it’s so funky and eye catching. This is definitely a vacuum I would choose for myself. It’s just gorgeous to look at. It really does make me want to use it more which is always good. I love the fact that it’s so easy to use, it really does just glide along. It has lots of great attachments so you can fit in every corner or clean every surface type. There’s an easy to carry handle which makes taking it upstairs a lot easier than it used to be with my old upright hoover. Being so lightweight also helps 😉
There was one little thing that I found I would change if I could and that’s the hose. I don’t have a cupboard space to store my vacuum away so it’s normally placed behind a door or in a far corner of our dining room. Being a Cylinder means the hose is then left standing up in the air next to it with no where to hide it away safely. It often falls down and causes me too trip over it. I’m not sure how I could over come that but for now, I’m just being more careful.
The Dirt Devil Tempest Cylinder DCC070 Vacuum cleaner is great. I’ve already thrown out my Vax Upright and I won’t be going back!
A compact, bagless Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner with a silver and red design, large red wheels, a clear dust canister, and a flexible hose attached to the top. The canister is transparent, showing the vacuum’s interior.
I give it a very well deserved 4/5. It would have scored a 5 if I hadn’t fell over it and bruised my knees 😉
