MU Cheese is a new range of delicious cheddar cheese. It’s available in Tesco and starts from £2.49. It’s available in re – seal able blocks, handy already grated packs and pre sliced packs. All of which are great for a busy mum like me.
A packet of MU Mature Cheddar cheese with cow-print black and white spots, bold red and white lettering, and a blue quality seal in the lower right corner. Text reads, “Mature Cheddar, A Deliciously Tangy Mature Cheddar.”.I was sent two lovely blocks of MU Cheese to try out and I was very pleased with what I was sent. One block was Mature Cheddar which comes in an eye catching red coloured packet. It’s not too strong or over powering really. I  quite enjoyed the taste. The other block was a Mature Lighter Cheese which again was very nice but with that extra added bonus of being 30% lighter.
I’ve used my cheese to make yummy cheese sandwiches, mouth watering cheese on toast but my favourite of all was using it to top off my lasagna the other night, Mmm – It was delicious.
A pile of grated mature cheddar cheese is on a blue chopping board, next to a cheese grater and a partially grated cheese block. In the background is a bag labelled "PMO Mature Cheddar," with bold red, white, and black packaging.

A rectangular baking tray filled with a baked casserole or pasta dish, topped with a generous layer of melted grated cheese that is golden and slightly bubbly around the edges. The dish is on a white surface.
I gave the MU Cheese blocks a very well deserved 4/5 – I think next time I may like the pre – grated packs but that’s just because I’m lazy hehe.
