Last week we got creative with the So Bomb DIY Vanity Case. My kids and I all love a relaxing bath, so this set was just perfect for us. The So Bomb DIY Vanity Case lets you design 5 unique fizzy Bath Bombs whilst giving you a cute case to store your ingredients in.

The kids were really excited when they saw this as they love bath bombs but I was a little worried that it was going to get very messy. After making them now though, I can say, we didn’t actually make that much mess and everything was really easy to clean up afterwards. 
 
It’s so simple to do, the kids pretty did most of the steps on their own. You simply pour each packet of powder into a bowl and mix it with a bag of Sodium. You add a drop of water and mix it all up. Filling the moulds was the fun part, both Lily and Ryan had great fun creating lots of colourful patterns. They added sprinkles to the top and hid little surprises in the middle. Popping the two halves together was the trickiest part so I did help with this as when they tried it, they were a little too slow and the powder was trying to escape. Oops.

Once the moulds were all full, we left them on the side to dry for a few hours and then they looked like this (shown below). How cool do they look? They look just as good as the ones we buy ready made in the shops. The kids were so proud and pleased with themselves. Bath times will be great fun this week now that they have all these to use, they can’t wait.

We really enjoyed making our own bath bombs with the So Bomb DIY Vanity Case. It was nice and easy to use, great fun to do and the results were super cool. The kids would love to make more in the future so we may have to try out some of their other sets they make.
